Line 6 link cable alternative

Last week I bought myself a Powercab 112 plus, which has Line 6 link capability.

Line 6 link makes it possible to send your signal from the Helix to the powercab aswell as control the setting of the powercab via a single cable.

However an official line 6 link cable was hard to get by here in the Netherlands, so I started digging in to what cable type was required. It turns out that you need a 110 Ohm AES-EBU cable, which I have never heard of, but is pretty easy to order online.

I bought the following 10 meters cable, which works perfectly fine and was less than €10!

I choose 10 meters, since in my experience that's enough cable from where you amp is on the stage to your pedalboard to the front of the stage, for most venues.

If you need more than 10 meters of cable, then it's likely that you no longer have to worry about buying your own cables. 😂.
